Set in a small Sicilian town, Cinema Paradiso centres on the friendship between a young boy and an aging projectionist who works at the local cinema and teaches him the ropes.  Starring Philippe Noiret, Salvatore Cascio, Jacques Perrin (subtitles)

Free glass of Italian wine (or soft drink) and snacks before the screening and a Q&A with guest speaker afterwards.  Free raffle with a selection of lovely film-related prizes to be won – including a basket of Italian food goodies and free tickets to both Muriel’s Wedding and Singin’ in the Rain!
