Searching for the perfect venue for your next meeting or event? Our centre has a range of flexible and welcoming spaces, ideal for a variety of occasions — from intimate business meetings to small performances, workshops, and events.

Each of our rooms is equipped to meet your specific needs. Facilities include wireless broadband, a projector and screen, flipcharts, dry whiteboards, tables and chairs, and tea and coffee making facilities.

You’ll also have access to an upstairs kitchen, accessible toilets, a peaceful outdoor space, licensed café & bar & disabled access to the ground floor.

Leyburn Arts Centre

Situated on the ground floor, the Auditorium is a fully accessible, flexible space with lots of natural light, ideal for large meetings, networking events and small conferences. Equipped with a high-quality digital theatre system, complete with surround sound for film screenings and presentations.

Size and capacity:

  • Dimensions: 6m x 9.55m
  • Seats:  60-70 people 

The Studio is situated on the first floor and is accessible by stairs. It’s equipped with fixed ballet barres along the perimeter walls and has lots of natural light. Suitable for small exercise classes, or meetings with trestle tables and folding chairs. It has a drop-down screen for presentations.

  • Seats:  20-30 people

The Library is an intimate space situated on the first floor, and is accessible by stairs, ideal for smaller group meetings and activities.

  • Dimensions: 6.3m x 5.6m
  • Seats: 15-20 people

The Licensed Cafe/Bar is staffed by volunteers and is open prior to all our regular scheduled film screenings, music and theatre events.

Situated on the ground floor, the Café Bar room is suitable for smaller meetings, groups, classes or craft sessions, with an accessible toilet just next door.

  • Dimensions: 6.3m x 5.6m
  • Seats:  10-12 people

We have a private car park available without charge to people using the centre or the Community Shed.

The ground floor of the centre is fully accessible and has suitable toilet facilities for wheelchair users. The first floor can only be accessed via a staircase.

Our new Community Shed building is fully accessible, offering full wheelchair access and low workspaces.

An upstairs kitchen is available for those using the centre, where you can prepare your own food and drink.

Leyburn Arts & Community Centre is well situated within easy walking distance of the marketplace.
