Community Shed

The most exciting community development to take place in the area for years. This new environmentally friendly building will provide a large workshop area with essential tools and equipment and space to learn and engage in a range of arts and crafts and educational activities. Membership will be as inclusive as possible; people will be encouraged to develop new skills via interactive skills and educational sessions. An important part of the project will be a social space with internet access, copying and printing facilities and a technical library. The shed is to be located adjacent to the Centre with appropriate access and car parking available. In the start-up phase the organisers are looking for people with a variety of skills to help develop the building and facilities.
